PROJECT OBJECTIVES AND SCOPE

Aurecon was appointed to undertake the scheduling and consent applications and associated reporting for a Special Housing Area at Smiths Farm in Tauranga.

The solution entails that the road and lot layout meet the Tauranga City Council's resolutions on access to the new Tauranga Northern Link, as well as meeting the Council's requirement to maximise lot yield in a flexible manner to provide for market demand. A joint stormwater solution with the NZ Transport Agency is also proposed.

Upon completion of the application, the Council will attract a number of developer purchasers and the land can be sold.
